Why Amber?

Amber discovered her passion when she became a mother and started merging her background in nutrition with early childhood development and mindful eating practices. She began teaching a course in Family Food & Nutrition in 2008 and has been teaching college courses while juggling motherhood ever since. Her holistic approach to health and wellness in combination with her background in nutrition and experience as a mother make her a wonderful resource for others looking to improve their lives.

Amber provides a warm, nurturing environment to discover and explore what clients need to improve their health and wellness. She brings a diversity of interests to the table, including attention to food traditions and cultures, mindful mealtime habits, and a love for good food. She enjoys interacting with clients to consider how best to help them reach their unique, individual goals. Food can be a deeply personal and even emotional topic. Her coaching philosophy strives to empower and guide clients to consider making realistic, positive changes with the ultimate goals of enjoying life, trying something new, and having fun! Educational Background

Amber Yui, MPH, RDN, LDN, CHES is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who provides mindful health and wellness coaching for women and families from preconception to raising joyful eaters and beyond.

Amber earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California along with a minor in Ethnic Studies. She worked as a clinical dietitian in hospital and outpatient settings before going back to school to complete a Master’s in Public Health and become a Certified Health Education Specialist. Amber currently teaches university-level health and nutrition courses in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Oregon.
